International hotel chain Best Western will open information and consultancy office in Bulgaria, Best Western Hellas CEO Carol Marriott announced. Three new hotels, Best Western Hotel Expo and Best Western Hotel Evropa in Sofia and Best Western Hotel Royal in Plovdiv, have joined the chain in Bulgaria, which previously included only the capital's Best Western Hotel City. These recent additions increase the chain's Bulgarian portfolio to four hotels. The office will negotiate with local hotels willing to join the brand but the final assessment of the candidates will be done at the Greek office. Carol Marriott also explained that the brand is planning to expand its positions in Bulgaria. He said that negotiations have been launched with hoteliers from Bourgas, Varna, Pamporovo and Velingrad. "These properties are a wonderful addition to Best Western in Europe." said Suzi Yoder, Vice President International Operations for Best Western International was sited as saying. "They provide travellers a high-quality lodging experience with excellent location and local charm."
