Ruse Horse

A unique exposition will be opened Thursday in the National Art Gallery displaying the skeleton of the Bulgarian Tsar Kaloyan (1197-1207). Until April 20 visitors will be able to see also the famous ring of Tsar Kaloyan, an anthropological restoration of his bust and original objects from that time. The findings are presented for the first time outside the city of Veliko Tarnovo. On this day Bulgaria marks 800 years since Tsar Kaloyan achieved a victory over the Latin emperor Baldwin of Flanders (1204- 1205) near Odrin.
