The Mediterranean is becoming a favourite tourism destination for the French, and Bulgaria is the big surprise in that region, French site TourMag reports. Spain, still holds the first place among the favourite summer tourism destinations, followed by the US and Italy. Portugal comes at the fourth place followed by East Europe's "cultural treasures" - Prague and Budapest. Now Eastern Europe is offering a new fashionable summer destination - Bulgaria. The country enters that ranking on the seventh place with its Black Sea capital Varna. Meanwhile Croatia certified its good results from the last year as Dubrovnik comes fifth in the ranking and Split is took the tenth place. Grece has also market a considerable progress and is said to enter the Top 5 very soon.
