The growth of the Bulgarian economy is 5,6% compared to the same period of 2007, according to preliminary data published by the Bulgarian National Statistics Institute (NSI). The data further reveals that the the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country for the third trimester of 2008 is BGN 18,555 M. The GDM volume for the first nine months of 2008 is BGN 47,983 M, which is 6,5% higher compared to the first nine months of 2007. The gross added value of the Bulgarian economy is BGN 39,429 M - a 6,9% growth compared with the first nine months of 2007.
