Bulgaria's Euro-integration Minister Meglena Kuneva participated in an international seminar called NATO, OSCE and EU: partners for security cooperation in Washington. In her speech Minister Kuneva presented Bulgaria's preparation for its 2007 EU membership. She also underlined the support Bulgaria offers to all Southeastern countries on their route to both the European Union and NATO. Minister Kuneva also focused on the importance of Bulgaria's NATO membership and its future EU entry. During the forum the participants praised Bulgaria's chairmanship of the OSCE in 2004. The Bulgarian euro-integration minister is scheduled to meet officials from the US State Department and Senate as well as with officials from the The Delegation of the European Commission in Washington.
