Bulgaria has approved the financial scheme of EUR 164 M under PHARE 2005 program as proposed by the European Commission, which includes a total of 38 projects. The Council on European Integration convened Wednesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Plamen Panayotov to approve the projects in fields such as political criteria; internal market and economic criteria; agriculture; transport; employment, social policy and education; environment; justice and home affairs; customs and finances; administrative reforms and capacity. The PHARE projects follow the priorities set out in the latest Regular Report for Bulgaria by the European Commission, the governmental press office announced. The Committee for association EU-Bulgaria is to hold its 11th meeting on June 15.
