Bulgaria's Top Tennis Player Reaches Orleans Quarterfinals
Bulgarian top male tennis player, Grigor Dimitrov, went on again Wednesday with his excellent performance at the EUR 106,500 ATP Challenger in Orleans, France.

Grigor Dimitrov defeated the Austrian Martin Fischer, ATP rank 122, in the second round of Open d'Orléans in France with a score of 6-4 7-6(3).

In the first set Dimitrov reached 2-0 after a break to close the set at 6-4.

In the second set, the players were not able to break each other's service game. The set was decided by tie-break securing the victory for Dimitrov and his reaching of the quarterfinal, which brought him 25 ATP ranking points.

Two days ago, the 19-year-old Bulgarian defeated Lukas Lacko from Slovakia, who was Seed 3 and currently ranks 79th, by 7:5, 6:3. This was Dimitrov's third victory over a tennis player who is in the world's top 100.

Dimitrov's opponent for the Friday match is still to be decided between Roberto Bautista-Agut of Spain, ATP rank 164, and the winner of 1st round match between Alexandre Sidorenko (France, WC, 292), and Stephane Bohli (Switzerland, 113).
