Students from Southeast Europe will be able to train in a joint Bulgarian-Romanian university center, under an agreement signed Friday by Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Passy and his Romanian counterpart Mihai Razvan Ungureanu.
The project will provide training in the universities of Russe and Giurgiu on the Bulgarian and Romanian bank of the Danube river respectively.
The establishment and functioning of the cross-border university proves Bulgaria and Romania are already part of the European Union, Minister Passy said.
He underlined that the two countries are enjoying their best relations over the last decades.
Meanwhile, taking up a BTA question on the Parliamentary crisis in Bulgaria, Minister Passy said the current government has no intention of going out of office next week. |
