Bulgarian wines won one gold and two silver medals at the prestigious Concours Mondial de Bruxelles contest in Belgium's capital.
Three types of wine of the leading Bulgarian wine producer Domaine Boyar received the prestigious awards.
"Domaine Boyar - Cabernet Sauvignon 2001" won a gold medal, "Boyar - Sélection - Cabernet Sauvignon 2001" and "Boyar - Blueridge - Cabernet Sauvignon 2001" were decorated with silver.
"The awards given to our wines are an official international recognition and we are really happy to receive them", Domaine Boyar's Marketing Manager Elisaveta Velyanova, said.
The annual Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is organised for the 12th time with over 4,000 types of wine presented. The contest has become an authority in the world of top international competitions. Its tasting committees, made up of experienced experts from all over the world, judge the best of the world's wine products.
So far wines of Domaine Boyar have won four gold and 20 silver medals at this competition.
