Strategic topics concerning labor policy and the legislative framework in the countries of Southeastern Europe will be among the priorities of the Business Symposium and regional meeting of the Councils of foreign investors in SE in Bulgaria's capital Sofia.
The Bulgarian International Business Association (BIBA) organizes the event, which opened Thursday in the Sheraton Hotel, as part of Ministerial Meeting for Investment and Commerce in SE.
Topics also include the progress in facilitating regional trade and the commercial relationships with the European Union. Foreign investors are expected to present ways for overcoming problems in infrastructure and investment projects. A World Bank plan for installing new frontier checkpoints between Bulgaria and Macedonia to advance regional trade and transportation will be put forward as well.
Bulgarian Energy Minister Milko Kovathcev and BIBA President Sasha Bezuhanova will open the forum. A summary of the participants' activities will be offered at the Ministerial Conference in Sofia on Friday. |
