The Indian-American company "Sutherland" is going to hire 250 IT specialists in the city of Rousse, as announced by the local municipality.
Bozhidar Yotov, Mayor of Rousse has already met three times with company representatives.
The "Sutherland" Vice-President had stated that so far Rousse seemed to be the best choice for the company to open an office. "Sutherland" have also considered Varna as a possible location.
The company is looking to rent an office building in the city and to hire 200-250 specialists to work there. All new employees will take a training course before starting their job assignments.
"Sutherland" already has an office in Sofia with 100 employees. They work on a project of the global anti-virus programs producer McAfee.
McAfee is just the first of the many clients "Sutherland" plans to bring to Bulgaria because they believe that the country offers favorable business environment and good conditions for further development.
The company has invested about USD 2 M in Bulgaria and had stated that Microsoft, Dell and Yahoo have also been interested in doing business in Bulgaria.
