Friday will see the opening of Bulgaria Day at the Aichi 2005 EXPO in Japan where, at the Bulgarian stand, visitors will be welcomed in traditional Bulgarian style - with bread and salt.
Since the start of the large expo, some 500,000 people have dropped in to take a look at the Bulgarian stand furnished with rose oil, wine, honey, herbs, yogurt and other traditional Bulgaria-made products.
The scene at the stand will stage rich entertainment program with singers from the Filip Kutev Choir, the rhythmic dancers of Neshka Robeva, Teodosi Spasov and his kaval, folklore ensemble Bulgare and many others.
Bulgaria is fraternized with the Japanese town of Toyoake in line with the local tradition established within the Aichi Expo this year.
A 20-member Bulgarian delegation headed by Vice President Anguel Marin has arrived in Japan to inaugurate the Bulgaria Day. Marin met late on Thursday with Japan's Prince Naruhito at a royal reception audience. |
