Japan Hit by New Strong Aftershock An aftershock with a 6.0 magnitude on the Richter scale has struck Japan again, according to the US National Seismology Institute.
The aftershock occurred Tuesday, around noon Bulgarian time, on the shores of Honshu island, 300 km northeast of Tokyo at a dept of 15.3 km.
There are no reports yet of causalities, injuries or material damage in the region, already devastated by the March 11, 9 point magnitude on the Richter scale earthquake, and the flowing 10-meter tsunami.
