Model Named Sexiest Bulgarian Woman by Esquire Magazine
Bulgarian model Rali Ivanova is the Bulgarian representative in the Sexiest Woman Alive 2010 list by US men's magazine Esquire.

"Rumored to be inspiration for the word "bodacious," the magazine's definition of Ivanova said.

The Bulgarian is not very popular in her homeland because she has been living and working as a model in the United States for years.

A total of 195 women from different countries have been singled out by Esquire's 17 international editors for the 2010 list. It includes women from different spheres - presidents, journalists, actresses, human-rights activists, models, singers, writers, dancers.

"[They all have] something different, something beautiful, something that reveals a little bit more about who we are," the editors said.

Among the popular women are model Gisele Bundchen, actresses Diane Kruger, Rachel Hunter and Natalie Portman, the First Lady of France, Carla Bruni and actress Monica Bellucci.

The Dominican Republic had no "sexiest woman" but the editors said they were open to suggestions for naming one.
