Bulgaria is one of the most profitable places in Europer for investing in real-estates, having in mind the price – quality factor and the annual growth of the market. This is the opinion of the Russian property expert Patricia Ledeneva –CEO (foreign investments) at IntermarkSavills. The most promising area, according to Ledeneva, is the area of North-East Bulgaria, where the climate, the nature and the prices of the rural properties create the perfect combination for buying a holiday home, or even a retirement home. The notary and governmental taxes on transfering the ownership of the properties in between 3 and 4 percents from the price, the annual insurance is arround 200 Euro, which are perfect conditions, especially for foreign buyers, coming from West Europe. According to the Russian expert, the area of North-East Bulgaria is also perfect for investing purposes, as it offers good profit on re-selling rural properties and land.
